A new gathering in Madrid welcomed faith communities, cultural voices and social actors to reflect on the World Day for Cultural Diversity. The dialogue included Clarisa Nieva of the Bahá’í Community of Spain, Fernando Hernández of the Madrid Municipal Police Diversity Management Unit, flamenco artist Tito Losada, a Roma guitarist and composer, news eu italy budget and human rights educator Denise González. Speakers offered personal, cultural and institutional perspectives on how education can reduce prejudice.
During the event, participants explored themes such as tolerance, social cohesion and the prevention of discrimination. Fundación Mejora linked the initiative with Scientology’s interest in education, prevention and civic responsibility. Ivan Arjona, representative of the Church of Scientology to European and international institutions, noted that cultural and religious diversity can become a strength when accompanied by mutual understanding and responsibility.
